Having lived and worked in China, our founder understands the culture, craft, and communities behind this material sourcing location. We work directly with reputable manufacturers who follow strict strict employment practices, safe working conditions and transparent processes. All manufacturing partners operate under internationally recognised compliance frameworks

We choose real Mulberry silk — a natural, breathable, biodegradable fibre. While not classified as “vegan,” it remains one of the most environmentally considerate textiles when responsibly produced.
